Part ot the old transporter bridge , which was replaced by the newer bridge in the background .
Plans are being made to build another bridge "The New Mersey Gateway" as the newer bridge has now become inadequate to cope with the volume of traffic that goes over it . The new bridge will be a good subject to photograph ;-)

Had a quick trip down to West Bank last night , the water was like a mirror the night before so thought it Might be a good oppertunity to catch a full reflection !
But the tide wasnt quite in enough and it was way to cold to hang around lol , so yet again iv not got the shot i want from here . Got a few more to do with a fuller reflection , but i quite liked the fore in this shot , and after clambering down the muddy rocks to get it i thought it was worth a post :)

For those of you that are local , you will just about see the scaffolding under the bridge , this is whats going on when your sat in traffic for hours wondering whats going on lol ;-)
Will be nice to shoot it again with it removed and the bridge with some new paint :)

A shot from last weekend on Tywyn beach in wales . After a disappointingly grey cold wet day , we got this beautiful sunset :)
it was still blowing a gale and freezing cold , i dont really think the shot depicts this ha ha :)
I have been to Tywyn beach a few times , it seems to produce this foam along the waters edge when its really windy , sometimes there's tuns of the stuff !!

I took a few shots here , well loads really lol , i always find it hard using filters here , as you need a dark one to keep that always bright sky from blowing whilst trying to keep some details in the fore with out darkening the cross and light house too much . this shot was from exposed for the sky , then the fore recovered in Adobe raw , but i think its a bit noisy in the dark areas due to that when viewed big .
i layered another lighter exposure over the worse areas but still not great . its ok small tho lol :)
Might have another go of it with the different exposures i took .
Hdr doesn't really work either on this one , but ive spent a few hours editing this one so thought i may as well post it :)
